Sims FreePlay Update 5.24 (Hospital Profession): Frequently Asked Questions and Info
It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for - update 5.24 brings about the Hospital Profession from within an exciting new Downtown map area! After speaking to the train conductor and learning the how-to’s of train safety and knowledge, your Sim can jump aboard the Simtown Express and head over to the bustling Downtown.
Also, a Paperboy may stop by your Sim’s house - or find them in Community Lots - to offer them to watch an advertisement and earn awesome rewards.

How do I access the Downtown map?
You need to be at least level 15 and have built the bridge to the Mystery Island first. Next, you can build the train station in the Southeast corner of the map near the Restaurant. That triggers the Simtown Express Discovery Quest with Thomas, the Tiny Conductor. Once you’ve completed the quest, you can take the train Downtown or use the shortcut in the Maps menu (as shown below)!
How do I access the Hospital profession?
When inside the Downtown Map, tap on the Hospital Icon to begin building. If you have not done so already, you will be prompted to start the Professions Quest (which is really just a short tutorial!).
Where do I view advertisements for free things?
An enthusiastic paperboy has a chance to spawn in front of any building in SimTown. Tap on him to view short ads and spin for a reward, such as Simoleons and furniture, or even a grand prize in LP or SP!
For long-time players: The paperboy replaces the old flashing icon in the top hand corner of your Task List screen.
When does the paperboy come? How do I get the paperboy?
The paperboy spawns randomly out the front of any building. There’s no way of telling when he’ll be there, so make sure you say hello when he is!
Where did the paperboy go?
Once you've watched an ad, if you tap the "Finish" button, the paperboy moves on. Lastly, the paperboy leaves your house if you do, whether you go to the town map, another location, or close your game for more than a minute
