Update 5.22 - Police Profession FAQ

This update brings new life to your Sims’ Occupations! You can now join your Sim at work and help them complete their tasks.

How do I start the Professions Training?

You must be at least level 11 and have built the Police Station. Please also ensure that you are running the latest version of the application.

How do I assign a Sim to work at the Police Station?

Open the Occupations tab, select the briefcase symbol next to an unemployed Sim, and tap “Accept this Job” under the Police profession.

How do I collect resources?

You can collect resources by completing requests from Sims in the Police Station. Some Sims will have multiple requests, and you will need to complete them all before you can collect the resource. You can also collect resources by exchanging them. You can find this option by tapping the gold Police Badge icon in the upper-right corner of your screen while in the Police Station. You will find option to exchange your resources and Coins.

How do I select a specialization for my Sim?

Your Sim must reach level 6 within the Police Profession to choose a specialization. In the Police Profession, your Sim can specialize as Metro Police or Special Agent. You can only have one Sim in each specialization. You can select the desired specialization in the Occupation tab under the experienced Sim’s name. To remove a Specialization, tap the red X next to the specialization in the Occupation menu.

My Sim can’t accept a task because their level is too low! What do I do?

You can use a Sim that is more experienced in that profession, or continue to work other tasks until this Sim’s Occupation level has increased. Some tasks require a Metro Police officer or Special Agent. These are marked with a Police Hat or Magnifying Glass, respectively.

How do I expand the Police Station?

First, you will need to level up your Sims’ occupation level to meet the specialization requirements. Then, you will need to collect sufficient materials to unlock the new area.

How many Sims can I accompany at a time?

Two Sims can be working at the Police Station at one time. More Sims can work off-site, but you will not be able to accompany or visit them while they work.
