Real Racing 3's Cloud Save functionality allows you to transfer your Save Data from one device to another, provided that you have signed in with the same Player ID on each device, which requires an Internet Connection.
Note: Sharing the same Player ID on more than one device may result in data loss. For instance, if you wish to continue your game from your phone to your tablet, you will need to manually transfer the Save from your phone to your tablet before you continue playing on your tablet. When you then finish your play session on your tablet, you will then need to transfer the updated Save back onto your phone. The Save will not automatically update across all of your devices.
To sign into your Player ID, simply connect a Social Profile to your game, such as Facebook, Game Center, Google+ or Sina Weibo. Game Center users (iOS Only) automatically sign into Real Racing 3 (check your iOS Settings → Game Center to ensure you're signed in), however if you use Facebook, Google+ or Sina Weibo, you will need to go to the Settings and tap the Login or Sign In button for each Profile you wish to connect.
Take note of your Player ID, as you'll need to make sure that this is the same on both of your devices.
Note: If you have only signed in with your Game Center account, you will only be able to transfer between iOS devices. If you wish to transfer to an Android device, you will need to sign in with either Facebook, Google+ or Sina Weibo. To transfer to a Kindle, you will need to sign in with either a Facebook or Sina Weibo account.
After you have signed in with your Social Profile(s) of choice, tap the Cloud Save button in the Save Game that you wish to transfer to your other device.
From here, tap Backup to Cloud on the left. This will upload your current Save Game to the Cloud Servers.
After you have successfully backed up your Save Game to the Cloud, open Real Racing 3 on your device that you are transferring your Save to. Go to the Settings menu and make sure that you're signed into the same Player ID.
If your Player IDs are not identical, you may have previously logged into more than one Social Profile in Real Racing 3.
Once you have confirmed your Player ID is the same, tap on the Cloud Save button, and then tap Restore to Device. This will erase any Save Game that is currently on the device permanently.
Success! Your Save Game has been transferred.
If the transfer was not successful, please do the following:
- Check the Settings menu on both devices to confirm that the Player ID is the same.
- If the Player IDs are not identical, try logging out of all of your social profiles on both devices (your saves will not be cleared) and then try signing in with only one Social Profile on each.
- Once the Player IDs are identical, go to the Save Game that you want to transfer and repeat the process.
If your transfer is not successful after attempting the above troubleshooting steps, contact the Support Team for assistance, and be sure to include your Player ID in your Support Request.
